Mike Dunleavy Jr. is back.
After undergoing offseason back surgery late last summer, Dunleavy worked on rehabbing his way back for the first three months of the season. He suffered a setback in November/December when he was initially expected to return and some worried he would miss the entire season.

The Bulls have been struggling mightily at the wing positions without Dunleavy. Youngsters Doug McDermott & Tony Snell were being relied upon to step up and contribute in Dunleavy’s place but were lacking the solid presence he brings this Bulls squad. It was either McDermott’s inability to defend or Snell’s inconsistencies on the offensive end that would harm the Bulls on a game-to-game basis.
Dunleavy signed a three year deal to stay in Chicago an will play his first game of the 2015-16 season at a time the Bulls need him the most.
