As the Bulls face a pivotal game that could bring the team under .500 with a loss, Jimmy Butler has been confirmed available to play against the Houston Rockets Saturday by Vincent Goodwill of CSN Chicago.
Hoiberg and company hope Butler can immediately reinvigorate the offense, which has been erratic since his knee injury February 5th against the Denver Nuggets. Butler had been having another career year, with averages of 22.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.
Chicago has dropped 18 of their last 26 games and are now 30-30, with Butler missing 12 out of the last 13 of those contests. Mirotic is still a few weeks away from returning from an appendectomy procedure. Gibson, who injured his hamstring against the Miami Heat and did not play Wednesday, is day-to-day with a mild hamstring strain.
